I created a manual routine in which every Friday I download all the objects we have, including all properties and associations, and store them on a company drive.
I have already contacted the HubSpot support team, but I have not received plausible feedback regarding this matter.
If you have any other good practices, and that are less manual, I would love to know!
HubSpot doesn’t offer any one-click-backup features out of the box. Currently, you would have to look into third-party integrations (for example HubSpot Marketplace), build your own solution based on the HubSpot API or run manual exports: Export your content and data
@CibeleCavalli , if you’re are interested in using Pro Backup, then you can either start a free trial via this link or have a look at these 2 Youtube tutorials:
Hi @karstenkoehler , i am trying to locate the API endpoint for the Beta backup to start the request via a script, any idea where I can locate this endpoint? Thank you!
CRM Data Backup introduces an important mechanism to protect your data. You now can have a manual export of all contacts, companies, deals, tickets, custom objects, products, calls, and tasks in a CSV zip file.
Why does it matter?
Even though we do allow you to export objects individually, there isn’t an option to perform a full backup of your data. We often hear that integrations, workflows and other automations can mistakenly alter your data. Having regular backups not only ensures business continuity and peace of mind but also allows you to be at ease, knowing that you have a backup to restore if unwanted changes occur.
How does it work?
As a super admin, you can go to Settings > Data Backup > Create Backup to start this export. You can download these files in-app or via a link in your email.
Who gets it?
All paid hubs & tiers. Enterprise tier can create a backup every 24 hours, while other tiers can create a weekly backup.
You can check whether you have access to this private beta here:
If you’re not seeing this yet, you’ll have to be a bit more patient or talk to your HubSpot customer success manager. (HubSpot support can let you know who that is.)
If you are open to 3rd party tools, I would recommend using Skyvia. It is a more automated solution for scheduled backups of HubSpot data with less manual intervention.
