Hanging 2fa error

Multiple users are unable to complete HubSpot login after approving MFA via the HubSpot mobile app. Authentication reaches “Verifying HubSpot app / trusted device” and then hangs indefinitely. Issue affects multiple users across desktop and mobile and appears consistent with a HubSpot authentication/session completion issue rather than user configuration.

To help get you back on track, here are a few quick things you can try:

  • Click the “Didn’t get a prompt?” link on the login screen.

  • If you have them, use a backup code or another 2FA method.

  • Try updating or logging out of the HubSpot mobile app.

    If the app is still stuck after trying these, don’t worry! The next best step is to ask a Super Admin to reset your 2FA, or submit the form at the bottom of this article: “Log in to HubSpot
