I have a mac running HubSpot as an open tab in the Google Chrome Browser. I also have the HubSpot Sales extension installed in Chrome, extension enabled, and the “Chrome alerts” toggled on as well.
Whenever I send an email from Gmail with HubSpot “Track email” turned on, I get the notification whenever the email is opened on my iPhone, but not on my Mac desktop or via Google Chrome notifications.
I have turned notifications on for the HubSpot site via Chrome and have turned on all notifications for Google Chrome via Mac OS system preferences. I do not have Do Not Disturb turned on or Focus turned on, so this doesn’t make any sense.
Could you check if you’ve enabled notifications in the app by following the steps outlined here? If you have, yet you’re not receiving notifications, can you please include screenshots of your app settings?
I think notifications are enabled correctly, although I see the following in the web app activity feed and in the Chrome browser extension. Does that mean that I will no longer see real-time notifications of email opens until this resets next month?
I am still seeing the notifications on the mobile app, so am not sure why the desktop app notifications and mobile app notifications aren’t essentially the same. Thoughts?
Also, what app settings should I upload a screenshot of specifically?
If the monthly limit is reached, you can send tracked emails and receive real-time notifications, but your activity feed will not show notifications until the counter resets on the first calendar day of the next month.
