File Upload in Contact Forms doesn't create a Ticket.

I am new to HubSpot so I am not sure if theres something I am doing wrong. On my contact form when a user submits a file this is the property it is connected to:

Object type:

Contact property

Field type:

File

Internal name:

file_upload

This however doesn’t create a ticket for me. I have only been able to create a ticket if I change the file upload to a ticket property instead of a contact property. Is this normal behavior? I’m only asking because I would not want any further issues to arise due to how the ticket is being created.

Hi @AAli88,

Yes, this is expected behavior. If you want the uploaded file on the ticket, it would have to be a ticket property. A contact property would be overwritten everytime the form is submitted.
