We currently host two websites through HubSpot. I found in the File default file manager hosting domain preferences where I can assign a new domain to all the files (images and PDFs) that have been uploaded. This works great for one website, but not for the other. I’m trying to keep branding for each website streamlined.
An example is I have a catalog.pdf for siteone.com which needs to be hosted @ siteone.com
Then I have a catalog.pdf for sitetwo.com which needs to be hosted @sitetwo.com not the default.
My work around has been to go into Marketing/Files and Templates/Files… and clicking on the File details for the pdf that I need to “change” the domain on. I’m using the file URL by domain dropdown menu to pick the domain I need. Then I copy the URL and use that as an external link within the website pages instead of doing a file link. This works but is tedious for when pages are rearranged or product files need to be archived/moved to another location for customers to still access. We look very unprofessional when the links don’t match the company address. We have been questioned by customers on our legitamacy due to the naming conventions at times.
