I set up Enhanced Conversions in google and created an event in Hubspot to track MQL lifecycle stage changes. According to google, it’s track 5 enhanced conversions, but the number should be roughly double that. I set up similar events for SQLs and Opps, but google hasn’t recorded any conversions at all (though they are showing up as goals on google ads.) Any obvious problems with my setup here?
You might see that I left the “consent to share data” field unslected, not sure if that’s affecting it or not.
Hey @Louis_Martin, happy Friday!
Google Ads conversions may not sync instantly. If you’ve recently set this up, it could just be a lag in reporting, especially for SQLs and Opps.
To our top experts, @TomM2 and @danmoyle do you have any recommendations for @Louis_Martin matter?
Thank you,
Pam
Appreciate the tag here @PamCotton to try and help @Louis_Martin - but I haven’t set this particular situation up before. I’d leave it to the others you tagged, or maybe @Jnix284 or @trevordjones .
Thanks Pam, but I don’t think I’m that lucky for this to be the issue. I created the event for MQLs quite some time ago and it hasn’t collected any new MQLs past it’s initial four.
Hi There @Louis_Martin and thanks for the tag @danmoyle !
There is a good chance that Google is not accepting data from HubSpot if you have not confirmed that the contact has given consent. Is there a reason you left that unselected?
The client has several different consent fields that they added over the past few years, and it’s not clear which one is “the one” that governs their consent currently.
@Louis_Martin were you able to get it working after reviewing the consent as @trevordjones suggested?
If not, I would review your Enhanced Conversion diagnostics to see why it’s flagged as “needs attention”.
