Enable lead scoring for unique opens

We’re seeing lots of points being awarded on the contact engagement score when a contact opens the same marketing email multiple times. We’ve seen this happen a lot with shared mailboxes. This is falsely turning these contacts into MQLs and passing our sales team underqualified leads. It would be great to have an option to only count unique opens per campaign so that contacts are not awarded an inflated amount of points every time we send a marketing campaign.

Per campaign or per any one email etc. When it was possible to use fielded data on the contact we could just say give 1 pt for “emails opened” greater than 5 and the like. With spam filters like mimecast etc the raw numbers of opens can become astronomical. I’m even seeing the same issues with clicks on emails, particularly to the preferences-center page from the email. It is as if certain providers are “clicking” that link and “visiting” the prefs page to validate that it is a real link as part of the spam ID process.
