Emails are Bouncing

We have a system where one email may submit the form on our page multiple times a day. All of a sudden when we try to email the account back inside of hubspot, they get bounced? Im not sure if theres some sort of big in our system because when we email from outook, it works fine but inside of hubspot it doesnt seem to send. Im not sure whats going on

Hi @NDeshais,

Which value does that contact have in the field “Email hard bounce reason”?

Best regards

So with the email address we normally sent to, we got this “There was an issue sending your email.
This recipient looks invalid. Previous sends to this address have bounced.” I had run into a problem before where this email contact had “hit its cap of form submissions”? so this time around I deleted the email and tried the “+1” trick so it recognizes the email as new but still went to the same inbox. It worked once and now doesnt and we get this reason for the +1 "There was an issue sending your email.
This email has bounced. " Please help!

I went into the bounced section and see “unknown user” under the hard bounce reaosn but we have been sending emails to the recipient for over 2 years and this just started happening

@NDeshais can you remove the bounce and try sending a marketing email again? Send emails to contacts who previously bounced

Could you confirm that you set up all email authentications? Manage your email authentication

Missomg authentication can lead to emails being rejected by service providers.

these arent marketing emails that are being sent, its a regular email. We are creating an email inside of hubspot. So the emails that are being bounced do not fall under our marketing email workflows

@NDeshais in that case it’s likely the sales email tracking that’s causing the bounce. Some service providers don’t like tracking.

This can be turned off account wide: Turn off one-to-one email tracking or attachment logging

If that’s not an option, then sending the email from your regular email client and logging it with the BCC address is your best option: Log email in your CRM with the BCC or forwarding address

I turned it off and its still bouncing. The weird thing is weve been sending emails to this client inside of hubspot for years and then all of a sudden this happens. Their inbox isnt full because it goes right through when we send from outlook.

@NDeshais email recipient’s email policies change, they’re not static. If a new IT team implemented new security measures, that could cause a bounce. Delivery can unfortunately not be taken for granted.

Please check whether turning off sales email tracking is an option and if not fall back to sending the emails using the BCC address.
