Email syncing using forward function.

Hi,

I’m willing to use the forward to a XXXXX**@forward.hubspot.com** email adress to keep using my own mail client (which is not outlook or gmail).

I’ve setup an automatic forward within the gmail account, but gmail asks me to verify the adress :

How should I proceed from here ?

Please note i’m not willing to use any plugins.

Hi @Ed-ChS,

This is not possible, unfortunately. As you cannot access the inbox view of the @forward.hubspot.com address, you cannot confirm the auto-forwarding either.

If your email client supports automatically adding the BCC address to any outgoing email, that might be a feasible route. Net new received emails would then enter HubSpot once you reply to them, as part of the thread of your reply.

Thanks a lof for your reply, the BCC solution will partially work indeed but will not cover all cases :

- Email that require no answers

- It is not automatic and require the mail client to be loaded/open (in which case the mail client could automatically forward any new emails).

I guess the only way would be to ask IT to setup a forward adress using an admin panel (if there is any).

Hi, have same problem, not sure why but even setup on the admin (routes, forwarding) level doesnt work with Gmail br, Kris
