We have been with hubspot a few years and have always used the conversation inbox to manage interactions with customers. Our emails are sent using a 3rd party hosting provider.
Up until about a week ago our emails would be sent and display to a recipient as
Agent Name From Company sales@comapnyanme.com via bf.hubspot-inbox.com
During the last week something has changed and now all our emails are showing sales=companyname.com@bf.hubspot-inbox.com as the sender/friendly display name.
This looks super unprofessional and. am being told I need to upgrade to the sales starter pack to remove this, but I have always been on free tier.
Has something changed (sales tell me no?).
Hi @SAngove ,
Looks like you have been affected by this recent HubSpot Update by their product team
In-depth Info on these KB articles
Thank you for the information. Is there any possibility to add the authentication on free tier?
Hello, did you manage to fix this? If so, could you let me know how please as I’m having the same problem. Thanks
I “fixed” this by adding the google group connected to the inbox to my personal Gmail account as an alias. This way, I can select the alias, when sending mails. You can only select the outgoing address when answering mails via the contact page, not the inbox.
