I have created a workflow where an internal notification gets sent to our conversation inbox at the time a deal is closed. However, since these notifications are from a no-reply HS email address these fall into the spam. Is there a solution for this?
I’ve tried creating a marketing campaign and sending this to the inbox however here you don’t have deal properties and this mail will be sent to all associated contacts.
Could you again explain your use case? You’re trying to send a HubSpot marketing email to an email address that is connected to a HubSpot inbox? What role do deal properties play here? Which associated contacts are you referring to?
Hi @karstenkoehler ,
If a new deal is created for a new client, our customer support team will create a new debtor. To make sure that all of these requests are followed up on adequately i’ve created a workflow that triggers an internal notification that notifies them. However, as you said these fall into the spam since it is the no-reply HS mail.
In order to bypass this I thought of creating a marketing campaign that sends out an email at the moment that a deal is closed. The issue is that in the marketing campaigns you cannot select any deal properties as perzonalisation tokens (for example deal name, to give as a reference). Furthermore, the marketing campaigns will be sent to all the associated contacts, which means that the new customer will also get the notification.
Hence my question if it is possible to send notifications to a connected inbox without triggering the spam rules.
The behavior of the spam filter for the noreply@hubspot.com address cannot be changed. Have you considered working with tasks instead of automated notifications or marketing emails? (Tasks can also trigger email notifications.)
If you create tasks from a deal-based workflow, you can add deal personalization tokens in the task description.
…2 years on and hubspot internal notifications are still going into spam. SURELY this is something that should be fixed?
I’d rather my team not have to change processes and start using tasks, we’re happy monitoring the inbox. Is there really no solution? If this is on purpose, what is the theory behind hubspot filtering out it’s own emails? So odd…
