How do I make the entire background of my email an image. Is this possible?
Hi @LOlivier0,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
Would you be able to please share a screenshot of the email you are trying to create in HubSpot, please? Are you using a drag-and-drop marketing email template? The more screenshots and information you can share, the better the community can assist with next steps. Thank you!
Best,
Kristen
This isn’t a perfect solution, especially without having specifics, but is what I use (FYI - I’m not a developer
, and learn as I go). If you can edit the source code in a rich text module (using table code for the entire email, except maybe view online link and footer, depending on your layout) or edit the Inline styling on a group in the template, then one of these should work for you.
Make sure to include a background color, because not all service providers will display your image, and if you have white text the reader won’t be able to view it, unless maybe if they use dark mode. I usually test with the Outlook 2016 client, it drops the background image, and is usally the worst case scenario for your email not viewing how you expect.
NOTE: Replace [] text with your image URL and hex color.
In email editor module: <table width=“100%” style=“background-image: url(‘https://[image URL]’); background-size: cover; width: 100%; max-width: 600px; background-color: #[color];”> - There is a lot more code to a table, but you should be able to find Googling.
Inline in template on group with all the modules you need the background behind: background-image: url(‘https://[image URL]’); background-size: cover; width: 100%; max-width: 600px; background-color: #[color];
