My organization has been running into issues lately where the emails we send out are only visible depending on the reipients inbox preferences.
For example, an email that has black font and a white background in HubSpot, has black font and a black background in an inbox set to dark mode. The kicker is, a completely different email provider has a completely different experience.
The emails we are testing are showing up exactly as they are created when they are opened in Gmail, but we are constantly having different versions of emails when we open them in Outlook.
When we try to change the font to white so its visible on Outlook’s black background, it is then illegible in Gmail because it is a white font on a white background.
We have even tried to change the background behind the text to be a white plain pattern, and it does not show up that way in Outlook.
Can anyone provide advice? @hubspot can you all fix this so how it appears is how it is delivered consistently?
There is really no point in us sending out a mass email if half of the audience wont be able to read it.
