It would be really useful to be able to create and edit ‘help text’ against each property as required.
This help text would either appear when you hover over the property title (or a ? or something similar) or show the text inline.
The text would be visible against each property within the main records, the side views / previews and the Create forms (Create Contact, Create Company, Create Deal etc)
This would reduce errors and help users to use the properties correctly.
This is essential. Hubspot has a course on frictionless sales, but I spend 1/2 my day fighting with our admin about things that didn’t get imputted correctly into fields (properties). Zoho has this.
This would be helpful to set the naming convention for properties - especially something like “deal name” that is a Hubspot property that is not editable, even the description. This is available in Forms and is extremely helpful. Of course would prefer only for those with Super Admin access
Fantastic idea! Help text would support user adoption and improve data quality.
This would be especially useful for associations at record creation in cases where there are complex relationships to manage.
We really need this. Hope HubSpot will add this feature 
If you want to go head-to-head with Salesforce, this is a must-have.
Yes please - having custom help text on create a deal form would be great especially for certain properties. We do have help documents that we share with teams as part of training but it would be great to have it directly in the form to stop users making mistakes.

It would make any onboarding of new employees alot easier!
Yes please add this functionality! I’m working on a new process to move something complex into HubSpot to streamline things but the other platform I was using for that process allowed me to clarify and define options with helper text so the reps knew when to select each option. I can’t currently add this in HubSpot.

This means that our engineers are actively building this feature.
