I’ve been testing out using custom properties to record answers from an external survey which works fine. The issue comes when I want to delete or update a custom property in Hubspot. I see the field “With Value” indicating that value is associated with some number of contacts. This means I cannot delete that response option unless I first remove it from the associated contact records. I can see no way to search for those records, and from what I have read we (on Entrprise) can only index three custom properties for search (I have 10 properties). I would prefer to simply delete the question and have it removed from all associated contacts, but failing that I would need a way to find all references and remove them.
Is there any easy solution for this?

Yes, you can do this on the contact index page (Menu > Contacts > Contacts) by following these steps: View and filter records
Filter for your property “is known”, then bulk delete the values: Bulk edit records
