Edit a template that's read only

Hi,

I want to edit a template in Hubpsot that’s read only, is there a way at all?

There’s no way to directly edit a read-only template itself. You would need to clone the template. If it’s part of a marketplace theme the better option would be to create a child theme.

Thank you so much for your reply, even when I cloned the template it’s still ‘Read only’ (the clone). It’s not a marketplace theme, it’s a template on my company’s website and I need to make a change to a line of HTML.

Strange, does your account have the permissions to edit templates? You can view permissions for accounts in the portal by going to Settings > Users and Teams.
