We are using the Marketing Hub Starter. I understand that we cannot edit the ‘double opt-in email’ template unless we upgrade.
Could you please consider changing the template to make the purpose of it more clear? I receive quite a few emails from customers who reply to my email, verbally confirming their email address, instead of clicking the link.

This is a much requested change but unfortunately there haven’t been updates on this in a very long time. You could submit this to the HubSpot Ideas section or add to an existing request but personally, I don’t have high hopes for a change: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Make-double-opt-in-text-editable/idi-p/412228

In the meantime, keep in mind that you can manually confirm contacts by following the steps outlined here: Set up double opt-in for emails (see the part “Confirm double opt-in for selected contacts”)
