Domain Name for Blog Posts

I am utilizing the free version of HubSpot for my website, and my domain is connected to GoDaddy. My website is live, as are two of my previous blog posts. I am trying to publish my third blog, and I am now getting a message that states:

  1. This domain isn’t connected to HubSpot. Connect this domain or use another domain in your page URL.

Not sure what I am doing differently this time. The website appears to be live and accessible www.kerryahassen.com , and when I check the settings, the message appears on all of the blog posts, but two of the three are live, and the third won’t publish.

Hi @KHassen3,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and for including this detailed information!

I wanted to ask some clarifying questions in order to investigate this:

1) Did you recently downgrade from a paid subscription to a free account?

2) Have you clicked on the “Change the Domain” button and tried to update your blog domain in your blog settings yet?

Could you try to update the blog domain and let us know if that works?

Thank you!

Best,

Kristen

Thanks @kvlschaefer

In response to your questions, I have clicked on the change my domain and I am not sure what I should be changing it to. I thought it auto-populated that information and I do not want to make an error that takes the entire site down as it took me several weeks to resolved the initial error caused by the hubspot “slug”.

I have not been on a paid version of HubSpot. It has always been a free version. Including a copy of the settings for the blog as I am assuming this is where the issue is.

DOMAIN: KerryAHassen.com

NAME OF BLOG: The Transformer

Hi @KHassen3,

Thank you for this additional info!

I saw that you marked my question as the solution so I just wanted to check in to see if the error message disappeared.

Please let me know if you need any more assistance :slightly_smiling_face:

Best,

Kristen
