Does the Tracking code API create automatically marketing contacts? I don’t manage to find in the documentation the answer.

Hi @yoLotus,

That really depends on how it is setup.

If you are using the tracking script on a non-HubSpot website and you are not using HubSpot forms, please check these docs on how to setup non-HubSpot form tracking.

If you are using HubSpot forms, you can update the settings per form to determine if the form should create marketing contacts.

I just want to use the js SDK and call the trackPageView js function in a single page app. I’ve managed to activate Markeking Hub for testing purpose in a test account, I’ll do my test this way to see.

Hello again Teun,

Apparently the SDK is creating on the fly a non Hubspot form when a visitor is identified and creating as contact in Hubspot. So I may need to follow the doc you provided.
