We want to look at HubSpot for our quoting/proposal process. For anyone that recently starting building our proposals in HubSpot, can you share with me your experience and how difficult it is? I was looking at the knowledge base about quote customizations using no code and then what is part of the customization that would require a developer.
Has anyone had any luck with a HubSpot developer for these types of projects? Is it worth the cost or is this something that can truly be done in house?
Hey @LNitti - thanks so much for posting in the Community! It’s a great place to get this type of context.
To better find some insight, I’d like to tag in a few Community experts to help get the conversation started. @ChrisoKlepke, @louischausse, and @ScottPennwood - any thoughts here?

I’m knee-deep in HubSpot quotes right now for my clients too.
Super easy for starters: No-code gets you branded proposals, line items, even e-signs in under a day. KB nailed it: custom props, templates, all drag-drop. Only dev stuff for fancy logic like dynamic bundles or API pulls.
Tried in-house first (we’re a small team), nailed 80%. Then splurged on a dev via the HubSpot Partners directory, $1k well spent for polish. Totally worth it if you’re quoting 10+/mo, but DIY if testing waters.
