Desktop App

Status: Idea Submitted

pretty please create one otherwise its a mine field working multi tabs in browser :disappointed_face:

@RVaughan ,

can you please explain why you consider working in multiple tabs ( is this necessary?) a “minefield”?

How would a Desktop App be better in that regard?

Do you have an example of a large SasS company with a product of the same complexity as

HubSpot that successfully created such a Desktop App to work with?

Thanks

Andreas

@RVaughan can you elaborate on what you’d expect to function differently in a desktop app?
While I haven’t personally tried it with HubSpot you can to some degree make HubSpot work as if it were a desktop app. login to HubSpot.
In Chrome click the 3 dot menu. Go to “More tools” > “Create Shortcut”. Then check “Open as window”. Click “Create”.
Note the HubSpot app has not been optimized for being used that way so there may be some minor UX issues doing that but overall should work just fine.

Hey,
I also think a desktop app would be useful.
I don’t see working with with 3 browsers and +100 tabs as a minefield because everything has their own place and i can go immediately where to go.
But it’s easy when it’s just an app on desktop (notifications and a separate window instead of in one of my browsers)
