Hubspot has a few default anti spam rules. That we cannot overrule in anyway.
Some of them make sense, but for others i can’t understand why they are in place, and i think it should be possible to overrule them.
I base this on the information found on the following page Manage the allow and deny list in the conversations inbox or help desk
The main one, is the following:
Emails sent in reply to a workflow email that creates a new thread in the inbox will be marked as spam.
Why would you not want to receive these responses? And what would be the downset to allow this?
But also rules like:
Emails sent from your HubSpot account (e.g. emails sent from your workflows) will be marked as spam.
We just want to be able to turn the spam filter off. Since we have to review the spam box anyway to identify falsely filtered emails from customers, it just means we’re managing two inboxes. Would be easier to have them all in the same place.
AGREE! This seems like significant oversight in development. What is the point of having a Spam location if I can’t control what goes in and what does not go in → My Customer Service Team still has to check the Spam location.
The spam folder in the helpdesk, or rather the lack of individualization/deactivation, was the reason why we did not purchase any service licenses and only use sales. We are waiting with the purchase until the possible individualization of the spam folder in the helpdesk
The defaults should either be controllable or the whole spam filter should be able to be turned off. For my organisation internal e-mails incorrectly landing in spam is a much bigger problem than actual spam.
