Currently, the email > slack integration from the convrsation’s inbox send a notification for all new emails, including those sent to Hubspot’s Spam folder. I’m requsting that Spam emails be removed from this automation, since it sends unneccessary clutter to our shared support slack channel.
Great Idea.
However, it would also be helpful if the spam messages + contact + company were somehow marked so that they could be excluded from notification workflows. So far, the inbox knows that it is a spam mail, but no other tool in Hubspot does.
Agreed - the HubSpot inbox automatically files suspected SPAM emails into a SPAM folder so we really need the Slack Notification channels to be able to respond/fitler these SPAM emails out - otherwise this feature is nearly useless.
This is so essential. Currently, HubSpot sends ALL email notifications including a lot of spams to Slack which is basically making the integration useless. It would be great if HubSpot can filter out the spam, and only send notifications for emails in inbox to Slack channel.
Yes please. Receiving a Slack notification in a shared channel is a fantastic use case for the Inbox > Slack integration - but this should be filtered to exclude SPAM the same way that HubSpot Inbox currently filters SPAM. We spend a lot of time finessing and filtering spam in HubSpot so that over time the inbox becomes more relevant and clear.. This spam filtering is then totally ignored by the Slack integration which defeats the point.
In the current state, it is not feasible to implement this notification integration given the volume of SPAM.
See below a Slack notification sent to a shared channel - whilst HubSpot correctly filtered to SPAM.. these should be excluded!
