Default Lead Stages under Data Management

I would like to be able to remove default stages when configuring lead stages under data management.
Data management > Objects > Leads > Lead Stages.

There are 3 default stages with automations that I cannot delete. A suggestion by support was to rename the stage but these automations would not work for us in any scenario and I can’t edit the automations either. For now, I am going to name these stages as test and not have anyone use them. It still clogs up our stages as I can’t change the order they are in either.

This is so needed! It’s annoying we can rename the stages but not delete them. For our lead process we don’t need all 5 stages.
