Customer Details Log - Delay

Hi there, I am reaching out to see if anyone has any tips for the below?
I found in the last 2 weeks that I did not have any form fills generating into customer details within my contacts list. Then on the 14th of August around 10 customers came in at one time - 4.12PM to be exact. It’s like there was a glitch/lag or delay in form fills on the website then loading into my customer’s list.
I keep attempting form fills on this site and the lag is still happening. Usually customer’s details will appear immediately in the list.
I wanted to see if others have experienced this recently and if there is any troubleshooting I can try to ensure this wont happen again.
Thanks!

Hi @TRossetti,

In many years of using HubSpot, I have not experienced this. Just to confirm, are you using HubSpot forms, directly embedded onto your website and landing pages using the embed code – or added to HubSpot website and landing pages? Is there a third-party integration involved?

Best regards

Hi Karsten, thanks for your reply.
I am not using hubspot forms - we just have code embedded on the website.
The website I am referring to is built in squarespace. Form fills appear to be working agian, which means I can see new customer detials appeaing in the CRM>Contacts section.

Hi @TRossetti,

In that case, the issue is likely not on the HubSpot side. As I mentioned, I have not experienced this in many years. To troubleshoot this, you would have to find out exactly how your website form information is captured and passed on to HubSpot. It sounds like your third-party form tool may have been impacted or not have passed information to HubSpot immediately.

Best regards!

Hi @TRossetti,

The delay you’re experiencing with form fills not immediately appearing in HubSpot could be due to how your embedded code communicates with HubSpot via API. A common issue might be related to API rate limits or integration delays between Squarespace and HubSpot.

To troubleshoot this:

  1. Check Integration: Ensure that the API connection between Squarespace and HubSpot is stable and does not encounter rate limits.
  2. Monitor Logs: Review any API logs or HubSpot’s Activity Monitor to check for delays or errors in data submission.
  3. HubSpot Delay Troubleshooting Guide: For more guidance on dealing with delays, refer to HubSpot’s Troubleshooting Guide.

Best regards,
