It seems like there’s a mix of concepts in this discussion, so let’s clarify things a bit.
Firstly, I see a focus on Custom User Properties and the integration of a User’s manager. Customers can now add custom properties to users and establish a management hierarchy. Custom user properties are available only for Sales Enterprise and Service Enterprise, while Manager Hierarchy works for Sales Pro, Sales Enterprise, Service Pro, and Service Enterprise. Secondly, there’s a conversation about User Personalization Tokens. We have a feature in Public Beta that lets you use User object properties as personalization tokens in Marketing Emails.
