I’d love to see the ‘create custom properties feature’ that is now available for Segments, Workflows, etc. extended to Forms.
Challenges with Limited Asset Management Options for Forms
- Organization and Risk:
It can be extremely difficult to track the intended audience for forms. They get out of control quickly, and are easy and fast to create but difficult to organize.
Folders are better suited for other purposes - organizing by location, and teams resort to complex naming conventions for an asset that crosses lots of categories without clean ways to organize these.
Proposed Solutions:
The ability to create custom properties to better categoirize forms by intended audience, campaign or initiative, etc. would be a beneficial step to allow teams more flexibility to organize and operationalize how forms are managed.
Existing Infrastructure:
1.) Form Properties are limited to standard Information and Event properties. Filter functionality exists, but is extremely limited to data like name and status
2.) Existing Feature for Other Assets:
Workflow and Segment Properties.
- Ability to require a field on creation keeps assets organized.
