CTA performance

We use a single CTA in multiple different emails. Is there a way to track the performance of that CTA across the different emails and landing pages?

Hi @APark1,

Absolutely! In HubSpot, you can track the performance of a single Call-to-Action (CTA) across various emails and landing pages. Here’s how:

  1. Create a Universal CTA: Instead of creating CTAs separately for each email or landing page, you can make use of HubSpot’s Universal CTAs. These are CTAs that you create once and can use across multiple content pieces.
  2. Tagging and Tracking: When you create a Universal CTA, you can assign it a tag. This tag helps you track the performance of that specific CTA across various emails and landing pages.
  3. Reports and Analytics: HubSpot provides detailed reports and analytics for your CTAs. You can easily see how a particular CTA is performing in terms of clicks, conversions, and other engagement metrics. By filtering the reports using the tag you assigned, you can specifically track the performance of the single CTA across different pieces of content.
  4. A/B Testing: You can also perform A/B testing with CTAs. This helps you understand which version of the CTA is more effective in driving the desired actions. HubSpot’s A/B testing tools will guide you through this process.
  5. Conversion Tracking: By setting up conversion goals, you can track the overall success of your CTAs in terms of lead generation, sign-ups, or other desired actions.
  6. Integration with Landing Pages: If you’re using HubSpot’s landing page builder, you can seamlessly integrate your CTAs and track their performance directly within the landing page analytics.

In summary, using Universal CTAs, assigning tags, and utilizing HubSpot’s reporting tools will allow you to effectively track the performance of a single CTA across various emails and landing pages. This way, you can measure its effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to optimize your marketing efforts.
