Creating an Event Capacity Limit

Hi HubSpot,

Many event manager are turning to other platforms if their event has a capacity limit since this is currently not a function in HubSpot. I would encourage adding this feature to a specific form fill so user are not forced to look elsewhere to solve this problem.

Hello!

We’re a little late, but I’m with the team over at hapily, and we actually just launched a HubSpot app (event•hapily) that solves this exact issue!

In regards to form submission capacity, each event (or each session for an event) allows you to set a max capacity on registrations that is easily changed as needed.

When looking at the unique dynamic landing page created for the session, you can see in the page edits and our module for “Sold Out Text” that lets the prospective event goer know that you’ve reached capacity (p.s., CMS Hub or Contect Hub Pro is needed for this feature). The module will look at the registration count and compare it to the max capacity you’ve set, the rich text module of your choice will be displayed instead of the normal registration. We have a short clip of this being demonstrated by our Co-Founder and Head of Product Dax here!

My teammate Max has this information in video form using event•hapily, so you can see exactly how this gets broken down. You can find that video here!

Let me know if you have any additional questions or would like to chat further!
