In our business, our close dates are specific dates that are when a contract is due for renewal. Due to this when we close a deal we want the date to stay as it is and when we create a new deal for the following year the date to again be the same.
I’ve amended the settings so the current Close Date doesn’t change when it is closed which is great however the Workflow I’ve created can only create a new deal with a Close date of 365 days after the date I initially closed the deal when what I really would like from the system is just to create a new deal with the same date for the following year so that I can simply Close the deal and know the workflow will do the rest for me rather than having to wait for the Workflow and then manually changing the date for the new deal.
