Cookie banner

I have created a cookie banner for my website in hubspot cookies settings. But the banner is not showing in my website.

H @KGopalakrishn,

If you view the site in an incognito window are you able to see the cookie banner then? If you previously accepted cookies and they haven’t expired/you haven’t cleared your chache, its expected that you wouldn’t see the banner again. If when viewing in an incognito browser you see the banner, then everything is working correctly.

Hope this helps,

Whitney

No, I can’t be able to see the cookie banner even in incognito mode or
after clearing cookies.

Hey @KGopalakrishn would you mind sending on a link to your site so I can test to see if there’s anything blocking the banner please?

@KGopalakrishn ,

Is your website hosted on HubSpot? Or is it hosted elsewhere?

I ask becuase if it’s hosted elsewhere, this might be applicable:

For HubSpot’s consent banner to manage cookies on an external page, your website needs to have the HubSpot tracking code installed. If your account was created after November 2022, you’ll first need to add your external domain to your consent management settings.

If your consent banner isn’t appearing on your external page, ensure that the external page URL matches the domain and URL path rules configured in your cookie policy. If your cookie policy is configured to target specific countries, users who visit your page using location altering tools such as a VPN may not see the banner as expected for that country.

What if my site is hosted on HubSpot? The cookie consent banner is not showing up even though it is turned on for all countries. This is causing people to not be able to accept cookies when they visit the site.

Can you give me any advice for this?

@CSandovalSer I know it’s been a few months, but you can look into other cookie banner solutions that work with hubspot websites too. As you scale and grow your website, and with new legislations being passed in the US and around the globe, you will need a more robust solution to respect your users consent everywhere, called consent management platform (CMP). You can start with free CMP solutions first too. Just sharing these in case it helps!
