Contact Limit 1000

Just added over 1400 contacts about a week ago through an import but now unable to add more. Initial documentation showed no cap when not using contacts for marketing but now seeing a mix. Hoping to get clarification.

Hey @MDiaz48,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
I’ve come across this Community post, which confirms that free accounts have a limit of 1,000 contacts. I’ve found confirmation of this information in our Products and Services Catalog. All other limits (depending on your subscription) will be included in that catalog!
I hope this helps!

hi @MDiaz48

hope you are doing well.

When you are using HubSpot for free you can have upto 1000 contacts.

Then with the paid licenses goes this way:

HubSpot handles 2 types of contacts: Marketing contacts and non Marketing contacts.

Accounts usually include 1000 (starter)/2000 (Pro and Ent) free marketing contacts.
More than that are paid.
Marketing contacts are the ones you are going to be doing marketing actions to (emails and ads).

You can have upto 15 million records in the CRM (for example, 1000 marketing contacts and the rest non marketing).

Hope this helps.
