Hello,
I have created a vertical funnel report for our Company lifecycle stages, but it is missing a large set of data (thousands of customers!).
The only filter I have is the “Type”, filtered to just “Dealer”.
The only thing I can think of is that not all have contacts loaded, as I just created them via import.
I have scoured the internet and Chatgpt and cannot find a reason for this.
Please help
Hi @SBrooks10,
For records to show up in a funnel report they must have been in the first stage and they mus have entered it in the specified date range. Can you confirm that this is the case for all records you’re expecting to see? Likely, the ones you’re missing were never a lead.
Best regards
oh, when I imported them I set the lifecycle stage as customer. Is there any way around this?
Thank you so much Karsten, you are always so helpful
@SBrooks10 you would have to clear the lifecycle stage of these companies (using a workflow), before setting them to all previous lifecycle stages in the correct order - however, this will affect the date properties HubSpot automatically maintains (date entered, date exited etc), so this is a trade off. Cleaning up in one area creates a mess in another. There is unfortunately no good solution for this.
Hmmm
Because we are just now using HubSpot globally, and I just imported them over the past two weeks, maybe it would make sense to update all of them to leads, and then reimport to update back to Customer… but that may not be ideal, since two countries have been using the system for 2-3 years.
This has also brought up a bigger problem that when a company record is imported or created manually, the record is rarely set to Lead first.
This has been very helpful, I sincerely appreciate your help!
