I have created a report, recording the “count of activities” by team member (“activity created by - is known”) and “activity type”. Is it possible to filter this by unique activity count?
I want to filter out emails and calls sent and made to the same contact to get an accurate picture of outreach. I’m also open to more efficient ways to track this if there are any suggestions.
Yes, you could do so by adjusting the report filters accordingly. In the record filters, add a filter for “Activity type is any of” and just select the ones you’re interested in.
Thanks, Karsten. I have filtered it by the different types of activities, but it’s something slightly different that I am enquiring about.
For example, User1 has made 50 calls. My report shows me all the calls made by User1; however, 10 of those calls may be to the same person. Is there a way to filter by unique count (like unique on a website)?
So, in this example, if they had made 50 calls to 5 different people over that week. The count would show as 5.
I am having the same problem. I want the count of activities shown in the details to be reflected in the chart. For example, right now I have a sales rep who has logged 122 sales activities for the week (that shows in the detailed breakout if I click on the bar on the graph) but on the graph it only shows 46, because many of the activities were made to the same contacts.
I am running into the same thing as the other commenters here. We’d like to see unique activity and a report showing this. A single contact getting 5 follow-up emails from a sales rep for questions they asked is not the same as the first initial unique contact, which is a better measurement of how much actual outbound sales activity our teams are doing.
