I work for a small Economic Development Organization and was hoping to use HubSpot to track and report on our efforts for Business Retention & Expansion and New Business Recruitment. The ability to manage companies and contacts and track activity seems fantastic! But there doesn’t appear to be a good way to report on activity in the time that I’ve spent on the platform. I need the ability to export our activity logs so I can see how many conversations we had with existing businesses to support their retention and expansion and how many conversations we had with new businesses to entice them to expand to our region. The Professional Level CRM is just out of our budget because we don’t generate revenue from our “sales” efforts. Is there any way to get this data without the Professional Level custom reporting?
Hi @rvesey,
It’s currently not possible to export contact engagements (notes, tasks, emails, meetings, calls), at least not out-of-the-box. There are workarounds using third-party integrations. I haven’t tested this myself but other users have mentioned import2 data migration. Another alternative would be custom solutions based on the HubSpot Engagements API. You can find the API limits for the free CRM here.
There is also a thread on this topic in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community. I’d recommend upvoting this thread and leaving a comment with your use case.
Hope this helps!

Here is a brief explainer video on the app.
