Something of a “bump” as the last similar question was posted almost a year ago.
Is there any way to export the activities/engagement for individual objects? I want to be able to generate reports for activities relating to specific contacts, companies, and deals.
This would be used for tracking development of deals outside of the things you might setup in pipelines/stages.
For individuals within the company it would be used to measure certain KPIs and activity altogether outside of dashboards and visual reports.
This generally sounds like it can be achieved with the custom report builder but I’m not sure I fully understand you’re requirements. Do you need to export this information outside of HubSpot or do you just need to make it available more easily inside of HubSpot? What exactly are those “certain KPIs”? That’s currently a bit vague.
The short answer would be: no, there is currently no way to export activities through the HubSpot user interface. You would either have to go through a custom report or use the HubSpot API and CRM development features to export them or visualize them per record.
I’m really surprised that this very basic task can’t be done, having spent hours trying to get Hubspot to acheive this. I feel like I’ve been driven mad by this platofrm, stuck in a loop of trying to get things to work and losing where I am. You apply a language of your own to aspects of the platform (properties?) and create vast amounts of categories for aspects that allow users to spew data on every interaction. But you can’t allow users to export details of a phone conversation or email. **bleep** is happening to how we do things?!
Hey @dshields7 - thanks for following up here!
Would you mind expanding more on the requirements of your use case, as outlined in @karstenkoehler 's reply? We may be able to get you some updated practices if we better understand how you’d like to see this information exported.
