No. Campaigns help you group assets and give you options in reporting but they are not required.

Hi and thank you for the response. I have another question, are you able to help and direct me to who can. I have submitted teh persona exercise 3 times and it keeps askign me to complete this assignment. It the only thing left remaining on receiving my ceritfication. Woudl you please be able to help?
