Calendly is 100% crushing Hubspot on calendar link meeting setup.
Hub team see ticket #9391182 for full explanation.
In Short:
- Calendly has a cleaner UI
- Calendly has better integrations including payment collection
- Hub has no way to show the description of a meeting inside the meeting landing page
This should be a core tech piece for hub. Why arne’t they industry leading this?
I submitted a few other ideas that are similar to yours but wanted to add them here so the devs can see them.
- You are spot on about Calendly. I invested in upgrading to the Hubspot Sales Starter plan and I am using Meetings now with one exception: scheduling guests for my podcast. Why? Because Meetings doesn’t have this option (yet!): Maximum allowed events per day for this type of event. I only do one interview a day and need the other time slots to become unavailable once someone books an interview. This is possible on Calendly but not on Meetings. Here’s my post for my submission.
- Why can’t we edit the URL after we create a Meeting? Calendly allows you to do this so I know it can be done. I’ve had to re-create a few Meetings because I wasn’t paying attention to the URL. Here’s my post for my submission.
- Why can’t we do one-off Meetings?
