Would love some input & help on this!
There seems to be a bug within HubSpot which we noticed when trying to update our app lisitng in the marketplace. We’re not allowed to post our updated listing due to ‘errors’. However the URL causing problems works perfectly, follows the criteria and has been checked and refereshed mutilple times.
Have tried to reach out to support but the AI bots aren’t really understanding the issue! Any tips/ideas would be appreciated ![]()
Wow. Completely shot in the dark but in the documentation link, you have HubSpot spelled as “Hubspot” (no capital S) multiple times (8 instances that I can see; some in the sidebar nav). Since the errors say 8 instances of HubSpot being misspelled, I wonder if that is the issue? Seems overly aggressive to me.
@MichaelMa good catch. I heard directly from a HubSpot manager in a session at INBOUND that you can be rejected for not typing “HubSpot” correctly. Does not seem agressive at all to me. Simple requirement that is very easy to fulfill - you can even ask your favorite AI tool to update for you and it will do it in a few seconds ![]()
Thanks for this Michael! Went into the docs and updated the spelling mistakes. Good news is that the number of errors went down to 1, but I can’t seem to find that last 1 mistake anywhere ![]()
Wow, good find! Any idea how I can change that? ![]()
I’m not 100% familiar with the cookie consent banner service you’re using which seems to be Cookiebot by Usercentrics (hey, they were at Inbound and I got a sweet custom hat from them!).
I can’t find any explicit documentation that says you can edit the description for the cookie but you probably should just reach out to them about it. You would think they would like to fix the issue themselves.
Maybe reach out to HubSpot also to see if it can be resolved in some other way.
This is assuming that cookie banner I got was the cause but, like you, I don’t see any other location where it’s mispelled.
Got our product team to fixed the spelling in the cookie banner! Success ![]()
Thank you for the help ![]()
Hi @CO_dreamdata
While listing the APP, you can’t use “HubSpot” anywhere in the doc. So wherever you are using the term HubSpot, please make sure that you have the exact case like I have used here, otherwise there will be an error.
Thanks!
You are just repeating what the acccepted solutions are saying, which also had more accurate information.
