A couple months ago I heard from Hubspot that this feature was being worked on. I also suggested that it be possible for multiple editors to work on the note. At this time it makes more sense to link out to a Google Doc for notes you 1) don’t want to lose and 2) create collaboratively. But…we shouldn’t have to resort to a separate (FREE!) product to do want a $125/per user/per month product should handle natively in the year 2022!!

Yes, please please add an autosave as it would save us all tons of time when we make those oops moments and accidently close or move away from a contact or company window.
this is a no-brainer. and also make better features like bullets, numbers, and formatting you see in any cloud based word processor. this is my only complaint w/ your service…do it
Ugh. This is super discouraging to see that this has been an ongoing thing since at least 2020! The amount of time I would save with auto save would be huge! This needs to carry over into any of the features that have any sort of note taking ability, notes, call logs, meeting team notes - All of it! When I get distracted and try moving off of the screen when I’m inputting notes, the system at least notifies you to ask if you want to stay or leave. If you try adding a meeting note under the “team notes” section and think you hit save, nothing warns you that you’re about to navigate without saving. It’s infuriating. I’m a sales rep. I am trying to move at a pace that allows me to do my job efficiently and technology issues or small mistakes end up costing me a huge amount of time.
We would also like to see this feature added. Our team is fairly smoothly using the platform but the save button has been a complaint and work has been lost.
Unbelievable that this has not been fixed over time.
Created so many notes and excidentally clicked away from the tab - Notes Gone.

What a waste of time and unnecessary irritation and frustration created! And for such a big company, like Hubspot, not to have fixed this already… Seems like a must have these days for any platfrom.
Reminder to self: write notes in Google Drive or any other platfrom that is capable of auto-saving notes and copy - paste these into HS.

I have been following this thread for a while in the hope that there is an update to fix this. Today, one of our users found that newly created notes and emails are saving so if you accidentally refresh or close the modal, the text created so far is retained. Just tested and its working for me too. Not sure if anyone has found this?
It doesn’t seem to be the case for replying to emails I am finding
Similar to a post 4 hours ago- I also tried this out for notes and it did work. However comments on notes DO NOT save in the event of refresh or close of the window.
If Hubspot is listening (which maybe I think they are now?? We’ve been waiting for years!!) PLEASE finish the full scope of this fix- ITS SO IMPORTANT. Would love comments on notes, meetings to autosave, etc.
