I assigned contacts to myself and received an error message after I tried to create the task. How do I find those contacts?

If you navigate to Menu > Contacts > Contacts and use the Contact owner dropdown to set it to “Me”, you should see your contacts. If this was a new contact, you can sort the index page by the Create date column.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a straightforward way to find contacts without tasks. This can be achieved with a custom report (requiring a Professional subscription), I think, but not in the free CRM.

In your case, the filters would be:
- Contact Owner = you
- Next activity date = unknown
It works with hubspot free too.
