I was just in a support chat asking how I can assign company value from a workflow. Currently you can only enter free text to assign a company value from a workflow.
The intent I had was to associate a lead generated from an event to the particular company that we are supporting at the event. This allows us to attribute leads back to companies who are our customers.
The problem with the open text field is that it doesn’t actually assign a company value (one of our existing customers/companies) but just adds a label - or worse - makes a new company which may or may not match an existing company making our data bad.
So the idea is to allow a company value to be assigned via a pull down menu from the list of companies that exist in our hubspot instance.
In this way on form submission a lead can be associated with an existing company in our Hubspot database.
Is this possible?
