Archiving and Hiding Email Templates

As the year wraps up, we are working to organize our email templates and creating new ones for 2023. An issue I’ve run into is archiving and hiding older templates. There’s an option to hide ‘Custom’ templates, but we’ve now switched over to the ‘Drag and Drop’ templates and there are no options to create folders or hide templates. Therefore, we’re struggling to find a way to organize our templates so that only the ones for next year are showing.

Currently the ‘Drag and Drop’ templates only allow me to preview, edit, clone, or delete. We obviously do not want to delete old templates because they are still useful in many ways. I just want to be able to hide them like in the ‘Custom’ template tab or place them in an archive folder.
Last information I saw regarding this was that it was not a priority for HS as of 2020. How are we supposed to organize all of these templates? Please help!

As you’ve noted there’s currently no way to hide drag and drop email templates nor organize them into folders. All we can do is create/upvote/comment on Ideas posts about this and hope that HubSpot implements it.
I see there’s currently already an Ideas post about it (maybe what you’re referring to as information from 2020?) . Having only 4 upvotes and no comments it’s likely not to be seen by the developers (but they’re even less likely to see posts outside of the Ideas forum). You could upvote it and leave a comment to try and give it some traction.
