Hi,
Is there a way to set the folder (attribute looks to be parentId) when creating or updating a contact list through the APIs? I don’t see it on the API documentation (https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/lists/create_list), and what I’ve tried so far hasn’t worked.

Unfortunately, that functionality does not exist, yet. I found a similar question asked a couple years ago asking for this functionality as well. It was suggested that they create a post in the ideas forum, but it looks like they did not. I would recommend that you add a post there. Hubspot does monitor that channel for ideas
