In the deal section, we are able to create line items associated with deals, however, it doesn’t seem like we can customize the form at the moment.
Why this is needed:
(1) there are fields that are not relevant to our use case, I’d like to drop from the default form design
(2) we’ve created some customized properties that are relevant to our use case, but can not add them to the entry form

Really wish it would be possible to create custom views assigned to teams as with any other objects, and make certain fields required.
Very much needed. This creates more clicks and confusion for our staff. Need the ability to customize this form, including removing HubSpot created properties, the same way you can with the Deal form.
We are desperate for this. We’re having to have to separate 2 Sales Hubs as our products require very different line item fields, which is doubling our cost due to a limitation with HubSpot.
There should be a “Quantity” field! Its very counterproductive to create a quote, then have to remember to go right back to “Edit a Quote” to correct the quantity, because someone can’t figure out how to add a little box labeled “Quantity”. PLEASE ADD “Quantity” TO “Create a line item”.
Agree, it would be very helpful if we can customized the line item upate panel.
Since we can’t either change order of or remove properties there’s no logic in where the properties shows and there is properties that aren’t relevant. This makes a lot of confusions for the users.
As far as we can see this is the only form we can’t customize, strange that this form is different than all others.
We really need this, on deals and quotes.
On the product object, if you add a property into a property group that exists already on the form, it should auto-populate into the form. Just tested this to confirm
@MPerlman1 - does this mean if we can change the group on certain properties, maybe it will disappear from the form?
@CHay theoretically yes, but you can’t change the group of HubSpot native properties so I don’t think that is much help. Hopefully with all the updates HubSpot is rolling out for products / line items making it more similar to a custom object, I would guess the form customization would be coming soon?
URL - when trying to edit a line item description it’s asking for a URL on the form and there is no way to remove that option - Is there a way to customize the line item from creation form?

My date properties for start & end are in the wrong order. Causing a lot of problems for us!
++1 Please fix this start date should be listed above end date
+1 We also see errors due to start and end date, and unnecessary fields
Please let us customise this form! It makes no sense that we do not have this ability!
