Ability to clone a task and just change one detail to save for another date.
I’ve created a task and associated it with serveral contacts and companies, I want to clone this task and change the title to remind me of a seperate follow up I need to do at a different time but with the same associations to save me re-doing that.
Cloning a task would us save time when we are scheduling social media and blog posts.
It would also be great if when a reoccuring task is closed, that it creates a new task.
This would save our team so much time. Hopefully, this is a simple update they can make soon.
Yes, totally agree. Would be so great to be able to clone/copy/duplicate tasks! Hope this feature will be added soon.
Typical HubSpot terrible design and execution that wastes customer time. The user interface is so inefficient, constantly having to click into and out of records, copy and paste stuff manually.
Why doesn’t HubSpot as a standard practice just develop cloning for all types of objects? I can’t imagine an object that a user wouldn’t want to be able to clone.
This feature will help us increase HubSpot user adoption. Thanks for implementing this.
We really need this feature to be able to use Hubspot. Salesforce allows for this and for Hubspot to truly compete, you guys have to give these basic functionalities.
Please add this feature, we use some general tasks for the team and it is a nightmare to copy and paste all info for each member..

Beggin’ for the ability to do this. I currently have Eight sets of the same “Steps” (or tasks) for different content creation in Nine different items. I’m going to have to create all 72 tasks one at a time vs. creating ONE set of 8 & cloning then changing the name to fit the content…
I see this has been going on for 2 years now …
Cloning tasks is a quick quality of life improvement, especially for AEs that don’t operate almost exclusively out of sequences like a BDR, but need repeated tasks to nurture high-priority leads over time
Very simple functionality - should exist!
If your eight steps are similar each time (including lead time), you could set up a workflow to generate the 8 tasks based on another condition. Cloning is nice, but this would definitely save you time over creating the tasks one at a time!
One of the biggest hurdles to user acceptance. Please implement this.
