Currently the logic that Hubspot uses when chasing an exisiting email thread (sending a second email before receieving a reply) is to re-open the conversation in the inbox even though a ‘reply’ hasn’t actually been received.
Would it not make more sense that emails showing in the inbox only relate to emails received and not chase emails being sent?
It’s abit like sending a second message on WhatsApp then receiving a notification of a message received when actually it’s just the message you sent.
For example, in Gmail or Outlook or most email platforms, when you send a chaser email this doesn’t then open as an email received in your inbox, so why does Hubspot use this logic?
In my view this leads to a cluttered inbox which has to be manually decluttered.
