Our company is working on creating a referral program. What is the best way to go about creating one through Hubspot?

So the best way would be to create a landing page for the referral with a form.  Make sure it is marked with a hidden field for the partner who uses the page or create a workflow based on the landing page and the partner it is assigned to.  Every new partner would need their own page with their own unique identifier.  This can easily be cloned each time for each new partner. Also, there is a beta that allows you to link related companies to other contacts.  I think you can still sign up for it here. The only problem is that it doesn't work with workflows just yet.  But you could easily do it manually, unless you are getting a ton of referrals every day. This way you can link related referrals back to the source Contact or account.  This is different from a parent-child relationship on the company record.

 

That being said you will need to create routing and communication workflows in order to respond to the landing pages.

 

Once that is complete you would just need to create a new view of your leads from referrals.
