Hi there, I just launched my first app using UI Extensions (https://sailescoach.com/). In general, I think it is a great improvement over the old app since it allows for better integration with the HubSpot UI. However, there is a significant drawback that hampers the experience for many users and complicates user acquisition. The issue lies in adding the cards after installation. In the old apps, the CRM extensions were automatically added to the views. But now, it requires the user to add the card manually, which presents two issues: 1. The process is not simple and requires several steps and many clicks, which might cause the user to get lost and give up (users can be lazy). 2. Most importantly, the user may not have the permits to do it, since Users must have Customize record page layout permissions or Super Admin permissions to create cards and customize a record. For more details, see the HubSpot guide on creating cards. That is a big concern since, for many users, the installation process becomes complicated or can’t be done without internal processes, losing the installation’s momentum, which is so critical for user acquisition. Any plans to bring back the automatic “add to view after install” feature like in the old apps? Also, I think that granting app installation permission should also by default grant permission to customize the layout. Otherwise, what’s the purpose of installing an app if the main interface is through cards?

Many thanks, I submitted it there!
