HubSpot to NetSuite Integration

SOLVE

Greetings,

We are using the HubSpot provided "Connect HubSpot and NetSuite" solution. We recently turned on the feature to create a Company for each unique new contact so these records would sync to NetSuite. The problem is that these Companies are coming into NetSuite at the wrong status (Customer-Won), whereas we'd like them to come down as (Lead-Unqualified).

Thank you,

Martin

HubSpot to NetSuite Integration

SOLVE

Hello @MFranklin0

To change the default status of new companies created in NetSuite via the HubSpot integration, you will need to adjust the settings in NetSuite. Here's how:

Log in to your NetSuite account and go to Setup > Sales > Sales Preferences.

Scroll down to the "Default Customer Type" section and select the "Leads" option.

Scroll down further to the "Default Sales Team" section and select the "Unassigned" option.

Click "Save" to save your changes.

With these settings in place, any new companies created in NetSuite via the HubSpot integration should default to the Lead-Unqualified status instead of the Customer-Won status.

Note that this will only affect new companies created in NetSuite going forward. Any existing companies will need to be manually updated to the Lead-Unqualified status if desired.

HubSpot to NetSuite Integration

Hello, we are having the same issue with HubSpot leads being assigned "customer-won" in NetSuite during the synching.  They should come across as qualified-leads into NetSuite. Under NetSuite's sales - sales preferences, there are no options for:

Scroll down to the "Default Customer Type" section and select the "Leads" option.

Scroll down further to the "Default Sales Team" section and select the "Unassigned" option.

Click "Save" to save your changes.

Below is my screen shot. How can we change the default?

Hi @himanshurauthan, thanks a lot for this solution.

This is the setup we currently have

How do you make changes here?

I also have an additional question to you on the same line..Is there a way that we can sync the Status back to HubSpot so that we can incorporate it to drive the Lifecycle Stage within HubSpot as well?

Thanks @WinnieHien for pointing me this way
